I played with various round shapes on the computer and made some cardboard maquettes. They weren’t convincing until I got some scale and added colour, then they came to life. In a way they were like little caricatures or cartoons. Out of the shadows seemed like a good title for them, referencing their origin, also introvert/extrovert, and coincidently the movie by Taika Waititi. They didn’t have to be round anymore.
