An idea that emerged from conversation and exchange between Renee Bevan and Harrell Fletcher, relies in time on exchange and contribution from friends and strangers. The outcome is left to chance, and accumulated collection of jewellery and objects loaned by neighbours within Objectspace’s business community and from further afield. Displayed alongside an explanation of an item’s significance ‘What the moon looked like the evening she was born’, speaks to the simple humility of an object to conjure and maintain emotional connection and meaning beyond its material form.’
