I spent a few months playing with folds of the penumbra shape, scale and adding colour. Some worked and some just didn’t. I’m nursing a reject in my studio that looks like a Cadbury chocolate wrapper, but can’t convince myself or anybody else that it has merit.
We were lucky to be the first show in the new Platina Gallery. I had a great space in the gallery, on a huge wall near the window, with a cabinet space below.
Sofia was very generous to us, having a great opening and hosting a dinner afterwards. Met some famous Swedish jewellers, including Debbie Adamson’s first mentor, Hanna Hedman.
There were 6 Handshakers who made the trip to Stockholm. We Stayed in a hostel on Gamla Stan in the old town. We had some valuable time debriefing, discussing work etc.
